Learn how estimated production costs work, where to find them, and what they mean for your project.
The Estimated Production Costs panel helps you understand what your design might cost to produce once your project is completed and you move into the production flow.
These estimates are for your reference only — your designer cannot see them, and you are not charged at this stage.
Where to Find Estimated Production Costs
-
Go to your project and select the 3D Model tab.
-
Once your CAD designer uploads a 3D model, the Estimated Production Costs panel appears on the right.
-
Use the Material Selection dropdown to preview estimated costs across different materials.
Key Things to Know
-
Reference Only — Estimates are for your awareness and do not represent a required payment.
-
Designer Can’t See This — Your CAD designer does not have access to these numbers.
-
Material-Specific Estimates — Switch materials using the dropdown to compare pricing options.
-
Available After 3D Upload — The material selection becomes active only once your designer provides a 3D model.
-
Estimate Disclaimer — Costs are based on an assumed quantity of 100 units with high polish. Final pricing may differ once the model is complete and full specifications are selected.
